USA Terminating GSP for India and Turkey


U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer announced on Monday, March 4th, 2019 that the United States intends to terminate the GSP (Generalized System of Preferences) program designation of India and Turkey.

By statute, these changes may not take effect until at least 60 days after the notifications to Congress and the governments of India and Turkey.
