The Department of Commerce has published preliminary scope and determination findings from its anti-dumping investigation of aluminum extrusions. The investigation spans 14 countries and covers finished products made wholly of extruded aluminum and parts, accessories, and sub-assemblies that contain extruded aluminum. Cash deposits for any "in scope" goods entered on or after May 7 will be due at the preliminary rates based on country and producer or exporter of the aluminum. Due to the broad scope of the investigation, importers are encouraged to review the countries and products published on the International Trade Administration website, and advise OTS if their products may be subject to the investigation.
