A notice regarding new application of steel and aluminum tariffs will be posted to the Federal Register on August 19th announcing over 400 new products that will be subject to steel and aluminum tariffs. The change will add 407 new products to be covered by Section 232 actions and therefore now subject to an additional 50% on steel and aluminum content of a product. The announcement by the Bureau of Industry and Security took effect at 12:01 EST on Monday, August 18. Affected products can be found at the following links:
